Forte Music is proud to be a local business in the growing community of Tiffin, Ohio. In May of 1987, Forte Music was established in Sandusky, and then purchased Goetz Music of Tiffin in 1988.  Both the Sandusky and Tiffin locations continue to provide a vital service to schools throughout North Central Ohio. While their main focus is on band and string instruments, Forte also has a very nice selection of digital pianos, guitars, amps, and accessories. They carry a  large selection of print music and lesson books for almost every instrument, as well as a full line of twirling batons, cases, shoes and accessories. 

In late February of this year, Forte’s owner, Ed Adams, purchased the building that formerly housed the “Grand Rental Station”.  Their new location at 122 Ashwood in Tiffin, is around 5300 square feet. The size of the new location has given Forte the opportunity to continue to expand their clean, well-organized facility. In addition to their retail line, Forte’s instrument repair department is among the best in Ohio, with 2 highly qualified instrument repair technicians. Their repair department services most of the area’s school music programs. They are available for personal instrument repairs as well, and will evaluate your instrument and provide an estimate before performing the work. Another service Forte Music offers, is lessons for a variety of instruments including piano, guitar, ukulele, violin, and more.   Forte has also added a performance room to their new Tiffin facility, and are eager to add clinics, mini concerts, and recitals to their list of services.  Visit Forte Music in Tiffin and Sandusky for all of your music needs!
