Chicago Festival Ballet - Auditions: The Nutcracker at The Ritz Theatre

Young dancers are invited to audition for the Chicago Festival Ballet's production of The Nutcracker at The Ritz Theatre. Auditions and placement evaluations will be held on Saturday, September 21, 2024 at The Ritz Theatre, 30 S. Washington St., Tiffin, Ohio.

Auditions will take place according to the following schedule:

--12:00 PM – 12:30 PM: Dancers ages 6 - 11

--12:30 PM – 1:15 PM: Dancers ages 12 and up

-- 1:15 PM – 1:45 PM: Break

Dancers must arrive 30 minutes prior to their age group’s start time to register. Those chosen to be Angels will be released immediately following the audition. Those chosen to be Mice and Soldiers will rehearse from 1:45-6:00 PM. There will be a break during the rehearsal so please bring water and a snack.

The Nutcracker performance date is Sunday, December 22 at The Ritz Theatre. Additional rehearsals will be Sunday afternoons, dates and times to be determined.
