The Seneca Regional Chamber Ambassadors invite you to celebrate the grand opening of the new Bloomville EMS Station #4 at 9428 E US 224, Bloomville, on Saturday, September 14, at 10 AM. The open house will continue until noon.

This state-of-the-art facility marks a significant step in enhancing emergency medical services in Bloomville and the surrounding areas. With the motto "Powerful Partnerships for Critical Care," the Seneca County EMS emphasizes collaboration to provide top-notch emergency services. The new Bloomville station is designed to improve response times and offer advanced medical care to residents, ensuring that emergency services are just minutes away.

The opening of the Bloomville EMS station is part of a larger, progressive plan to strengthen emergency medical services across Seneca County. In November 2022, voters approved a 2.5 mill levy that will generate $1.6 million annually, funding the Seneca County Joint Ambulance District. This levy brought together five villages and 11 townships, pooling resources to create a unified and efficient EMS system.

“We had six separate taxing districts that are now one,” said Seneca County Commissioner Tony Paradiso. “Being on the same page with the joint district is a great start.” The funding from the levy, along with contributions from the Seneca County commissioners and revenue from EMS runs, will support the construction of four strategically located EMS stations, ensuring county-wide coverage with a response time goal of above average.

The open house is an opportunity for the community to tour the new facility, meet the dedicated EMS team, and learn more about the services provided. Visitors will see firsthand the advanced technology and resources that are now available to support critical care in the region. Refreshments will be provided.
