2024 Ron Linhart Memorial Back the Berg Golf Outing

Registration for the 2024 Ron Linhart Memorial Back the Berg Golf Outing is now open! Both flights are about half full, so supporters are encouraged to register soon! Hole sponsorships and other event sponsorship opportunities are also available.

The event will be held on Friday, July 26, 2024, at Mohawk Golf & Country Club. Renamed in honor of the late Ron Linhart '79, longtime H Association president, the outing is slated for a split start -- with the early group teeing off at 8:15 a.m. and the afternoon group scheduled to go out at 2:00 p.m.

The early bird cost for the outing is $175 per golfer ($700 for a team), which includes greens fees, cart, lunch, beverages, proximities and gifts. An optional steak dinner in honor of Ron Linhart is also available.

Sponsorships ranging from $300 to $3,500 are also available, with all proceeds benefiting The H Association -- the main booster program for Heidelberg Athletics.

Costs and Contests
$175 for individual golfers (price increases to $200 on July 1)
$700 for teams (price increases to $800 on July 1)
$20 for mulligans (no more than two per player)
$10 for 10 raffle tickets
Gifts include wine and beer baskets from Ralph's Joy of Living
$10 to enter the individual putting contest
Closest putt wins half of the money collected for the contest
$10 to enter the individual chipping contest
Closest chip wins half of the money collected for the contest

7:15 a.m. -- Morning flight registration opens under the awning at Mohawk Golf & Country Club
8:10 a.m. -- Announcements
8:15 a.m. -- Morning flight starts

12 p.m. - 2 p.m. -- Lunch for both flights under the big tent, silent auction

12 p.m. -- Afternoon flight registration opens under the awning at Mohawk Golf & Country Club
2 p.m. -- Afternoon flight starts (approximately)

6:30 p.m. -- Optional steak dinner, in honor of Ron Linhart
