Halloween can be one of the scariest days of the year for parents and children with food allergies. Just one bite of the wrong food can be life threatening. That is why the Wyatt’s Teal Team Foundation created its annual TRUNK or TRINKET, a trick or treat alternative option for families with food allergies. The event raises food allergy awareness and is a completely food and candy free event.

The second annual TRUNK or TRINKET presented by Wyatt’s Teal Team is scheduled for Sunday, October 22, 2023, in the Seneca East Local Schools parking lot. The event will run, rain or shine, from 5:00 – 7:00 pm and will feature non-food trinkets, music, raffles, contests and more. All participating vehicles will help raise food allergy awareness by offering non-food trinkets and toys. The school is located at 13343 E. US Highway 224, Attica, OH 44807.

Interested in having a trunk stop?

If you’ve never done a truck or treat type event before, it’s easy! Pick a theme and you decorate your vehicle or trunk stop. You can even match costumes to your theme if you want to dress up. You can be as simple or as creative as you want. We understand not everyone wants to go all out with decorating their vehicles or costumes and we understand not everyone can. Just your participation as a trunk stop will ensure that all the kids coming through will have a safe and entertaining night out. For some children, this may be the only Halloween event they can do freely without the threat of accidental food allergy exposure.
