Tiffin Area Safety Council: September 22, 2020 Meeting

September 22, 2020 at 12 pm via Zoom.  Due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, Ohio Safety Councils will conduct all meetings virtually (online only) this fiscal year. The decision to go virtual will also make participation as easy as possible for area businesses as focus on resuming their operations and keeping their workforce safe.

“Making it Safe to get them to talk about Safety” presented by Dave Tippett with On-Site Learning and Consultation

Safety rules by themselves don’t keep people safe. Employees must have the tools to feel safe enough to report unsafe situations and practices without fear of being judged or even ignored.

At the end of this session, participants will be able to:

• Teach employees how to speak up when they see a problem
• Teach employees how to hold each other accountable for safety
• Understand how to build a year-round culture of accountability
