The Turntable Celebrates Grand Opening

Congratulations to Rob Malone and his entire team on the grand opening of The Turntable at 116 South Washington Street in The Laird Arcade!

Rob Malone, the owner and chef of The Turntable, grew up in Sycamore, Ohio. After 25 years in the restaurant industry, he returned to the area to reconnect with family and friends. Rob was inspired by childhood memories of watching Julia Child with his grandmother. He saw the potential of downtown Tiffin to make his dream of owning a restaurant come true.

The Turntable is all about creating a place where food is shared and enjoyed. They use locally sourced ingredients to make unique dishes. There’s also a vinyl listening space where guests can relax and enjoy their meal with some great music. The inscription “Sans Souci” (French for “No Worries”) above the entrance sums up the vibe they aim for.

The Turntable is open Wednesday through Saturday from 5–9 PM.

Rob values open communication and collaboration. He believes in progress through honesty and transparency. The grand opening showed the strong community support for his vision. Unique places like The Turntable add to the quality of life in our community by offering distinctive dining and entertainment experiences.

Thanks to everyone who joined us to celebrate! We look forward to many more good times at The Turntable. Check out some highlights from the ribbon cutting and be sure to visit The Turntable for a great dining experience.
