St. Francis Senior Ministries: The Longest Day Celebration Fundraiser
St. Francis Senior Ministries will be holding a fundraiser in celebration of the Longest Day. On Friday, June 18th from 11 am – 2 pm, footlong hot dogs, chips, a cookie and a bottle of water will be available for a $5.00 donation. Proceeds will go to the St. Francis Senior Ministries Walk to End Alzheimer’s team. Anyone interested in a meal can call 419- 447-3141 by noon on Monday, June 14th to place an order. Orders can be picked up at the gazebo in front of St. Francis Home, 182 St. Francis Ave., Tiffin on June 18th. Thank you to Jolly’s for providing the hot dogs and buns, Arnold Vending for the chips and Hempy for the bottled water.
The Longest Day is a day to raise funds and awareness for the Alzheimer’s Association. Held annually on the summer solstice, the duration of this sunrise-to-sunset event symbolizes the challenging journey of those living with the disease and their caregivers.
