Seneca Regional Chamber Volunteer Honored with Bright Star Award

On Thursday, October 28, 2021, the Northern Ohio Area Chambers of Commerce (NOACC) organization hosted their annual Chamber Bright Star Awards at Terra State Community College in Fremont.  The Chamber Bright Star Award Ceremony is held annually and recognizes individuals who have made a significant and meaningful impact on their local chamber of commerce organization.

The Seneca Regional Chamber of Commerce honored Joanne Elchert with their Bright Star Award.  Joanne is a Tiffin native and has been volunteering with the Seneca Regional Chamber for more than ten years.  Prior to retiring and beginning her volunteer work with the Chamber, Joanne worked at the Tiffin Developmental Center for ten years.  Joanne has been married to her husband, Al, for more than 60 years and together they have four daughters, six grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren.  Joanne is a vital part of the Chamber team and is always willing to lend a helping hand to support their members and the Tiffin-Seneca County community.
