2024 – 2025 Leadership Seneca County
Seneca County Leadership commenced its new class on September 11th at Camp Glen outside of Tiffin. All class members, and available sponsors were able to enjoy a breakfast as well as networking amongst classmates, sponsors and board members. A motivating welcome speech was given, followed by board members introducing themselves and giving brief backgrounds.
Sponsors, and the majority of board members were released, and class began. We went through various team building and icebreaker activities to uncover mutual connections and become familiar with one another. We then moved inside and heard testimonial from previous class members who explained their class projects, as well as some tips and tricks they learned on the way. We broke for a lunch and, followed this up with a tour of Camp Glen, including points of interest as well as points of concentration for camp improvement. We wrapped up the day by convening and beginning the brainstorming process for a class project. We started with many ideas, but were able to narrow it down to a few key areas where the class showed a strong interest – more deliberation and planning will follow at our October 9th meeting.
