This two-Day Safety Course will be held on June 15th and 16th from 8:30 am to 2:30 pm. Offered by the Tiffin Area Chamber of Commerce and the Bureau of Workers’ Compensation.
Get a basic understanding of OSHA and OSHA regulations! Open to individuals involved in general industry that want to get a basic understanding of OSHA and OSHA regulations. Safety team members, supervisors or those new to safety are encouraged to attend.
Topics include:
- Effective safety and health evaluation of industry sites.
- Hazard recognition skills and possible solutions to safety issues.
- Best practices for compliance with OSHA 29 CFR 1910 regulations.
Skills achieved upon completion of Safety Course:
- Recognize risk factors related to general industry work sites.
- Suggest control measurers to mitigate risk factors.
- Interpret OSHA 29 CFR1910 regulations.
Cost is $30 – includes cost of the OSHA card and lunch for both days.
