Leadership Seneca County – April Update

Leadership Seneca County met virtually on April 15th.  Coordinator Kim Radison led three sessions and Seneca Soil and Water Conservation led one interactive session.  In the first session, titled It’s the Manager, Radison discussed the changing force of the workplace and the need for managers to become coaches who effectively communicate, coach, and inspire their workforce.  The second session, Women in Leadership, focused on the habits that hold women back from growing in their leadership role in organizations.  The group learned about how women, and their managers, can change their mindset to help women overcome these habits.  The third session was a question and answer for participants about how to lead during the current stay at home orders.   Mandy Brause and Kayla Moore from Seneca Soil and Water Conservation District spent the final session discussing current topics in agriculture in Seneca County.  The class will have its final session and graduation in May.
