Seneca Conservation District Celebrates 75 Years

Today, the Seneca Regional Chamber Ambassadors hosted a ribbon cutting to celebrate 75 years of conservation with the Seneca Conservation District. The event was a wonderful opportunity to honor the district’s dedication to preserving Seneca County’s natural resources over the past 75 years.

The Seneca Conservation District has been committed to conserving resources, educating and inspiring the community, and fostering a future where science-based, intentional choices are made on farms, in homes, and in schools throughout Seneca County. Their vision is a county where good choices make a great place to live, farm, and grow a family.

To mark this significant milestone, the celebration also included Chamber member, Smokin’ Sows Mobile BBQ & Catering, LLC!

Thank you to everyone who joined us to celebrate this special occasion. The Seneca Conservation District continues to play a vital role in our community, and we look forward to many more years of their dedicated work in conservation.
